The only ingredients we will use are the following: milk, eggs, orange juice, orange zest and honey. That’s right, only five ingredients! First, let’s bring the milk to a boil. As soon as it boils, remove it from the heat and add the orange juice. Now, stir until the milk curdles, which happens very quickly. Season with salt and then strain it through a fine sieve, leaving only the solid part. Place this part in a jar or cheese mold and refrigerate. It will be ready the next day!

Ingredients for Pudding Without Condensed Milk

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 6 heaped tablespoons of sugar
  • 6 whole eggs (I suggest sifting the yolks to avoid a strong egg smell)

Pudding Preparation Method

  1. First, mix all the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Then, caramelize the mold and place it in a preheated oven, in a bain-marie. Make sure the water in the double boiler is hot to speed up cooking.
  3. After a while, test with a toothpick until it comes out clean (this may vary from oven to oven; mine took 1 hour).
  4. Let it cool completely before unmolding it.
  5. Finally, prepare it the day before serving; It’s much tastier and more like a pudding without condensed milk!

Ingredients for Super Creamy Bread Pudding

For the syrup

  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • Half a cup (of tea) of water

For the Pudding

  • 5 slices of stale bread
  • 3 and 1/4 cups (tea) of boiling milk
  • a tablespoon of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Half a cup of raisins

How to Make Super Creamy Bread Pudding

For the syrup

  1. In a bowl, mix the sugar and water until dissolved. Pour this into a pudding mold with a diameter of about 25 cm.
  2. Then, place the mold over low heat and cook for about 15 minutes without stirring.
  3. Turn off the heat as soon as a caramel syrup forms, be careful not to burn it.
  4. Use the back of a spoon to distribute the caramel throughout the mold. Booking.

For the Pudding

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C at medium temperature.
  2. In a medium saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the milk. Add the butter and bring to a boil. Once it boils, turn off the heat.
  3. Cut the bread on a board. Pour this into a large bowl and pour the hot milk over the bread. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Using a whisk, beat the eggs in a bowl. Pour this into the bowl with the soaked bread slices and mix well. Pour half of the mixture into the caramelized mold, sprinkle with raisins and pour the rest of the mixture on top.
  5. Place the mold in a baking tray with boiling water and bake in a double boiler for 40 minutes or until the pudding is firm.
  6. Remove from the oven and, once it has cooled, unmold the pudding and serve immediately.
